Ultrasound

(Outsourced/Scheduled)

Gosling Road Veterinary Clinic can schedule an ultrasound procedure for your pet. Ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging tool used by veterinarians in place of x-rays to scan soft tissue areas such as the abdomen.

The ultrasound uses sound waves to create images from echoes that bounce off tissues. Painless, non-invasive, and safe, the ultrasound process requires our doctor or technician to press a probe against your pet’s body and move it around to scan organs. This generates real-time images that move as the probe moves.

Ultrasound is used most often to diagnose bladder and kidney stones, discover abdominal masses, to aid in the assessment of organ function, to evaluate pregnancies, and to help diagnose cardiac problems. This service enables us to get you immediate results and provide treatment without delays.
