Surgery
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive veterinary care, the experienced staff at Gosling Road Veterinary Clinic are pleased to provide surgical services for pets in Spring, Cypress, Rose Hill, Humble, Klein, and everywhere in between. Our focus is on routine soft tissue surgical procedures such as spaying and neutering, however we do offer lumpectomies after a prior examination, and grooming for cats while under anesthesia.
Typical spaying and neutering age recommendations are between 6 and 24 months depending on your pet's species, breed, gender, and overall health. Please consult with our veterinarian to decide on the appropriate age for your pet. Spaying and neutering help with animal population control and prevent unwanted pets. Just as importantly, spaying and neutering can improve the overall health of your pet, as well as help in avoiding certain reproductive diseases, and some types of cancer.
Our staff is highly skilled in performing veterinary surgeries, and we will make every effort to ensure that your pet receives the very best care. Our focus is on patient safety, pain management, and implementing the most current surgical practices in veterinary medicine before, during, and after surgery. We will also address any questions or concerns you may have about the surgery, anesthesia, pain management, or postoperative care.
Before going home, we will review your postoperative care and medication instructions. If you have any questions after your pet returns home, call us; help is just a phone call away.
